One or the Other

Are you blessed, or are you wicked? If you look at Psalm 1, you're one or the other, and there isn't any middle ground. When it comes to leaving a lasting legacy, men must do the things that lead to a life that is blessed and righteous. Listen in as Dave and Dante discuss this psalm and talk through ways to bring it into our lives so that we stay on the narrow path towards eternal life with Jesus.

The Power of Testimony

What's your testimony? Have you shared it with anybody? If not, why not? And if so, how'd it go? In this episode, Dave and Dante discuss the power of personal testimony - reporting to others how God has rescued you from the grip of sin and death and restored you to a life of eternity in heaven with Him. Sharing a testimony often involves vulnerability, but through vulnerability we create community. And when we have community, we are able to move into any mission before us and execute! Using biblical foundations, the guys talk about the power of testimony and encourage you to consider sharing yours with those around you. Share what God has done in your life...and see how it may inspire others to do just the same!

"Rejection Junkies" with Dr. Gary Lawrence

In this episode, we were blessed to sit and talk with Dr. Gary Lawrence to discuss his new book "Rejection Junkies," a best-selling guide to recognizing the damaging effects of rejection that starts when we are young. In this authoritative work, Dr. G reveals those people, places, things, and circumstances that hold us hostage, keep us stuck, and make us bitter. As a true freedom coach, he offers powerful and practical steps to take to unplug from these “emotional energy thieves” forever!

Problems are nothing new to Gary and his wife, Sylvia. For decades they faced and weathered almost every major life problem—from career and finances to faith and family—by understanding and living out timeless and unchanging principles. They know where and how true mental and emotional freedom can be found.

Gary and Sylvia have spent their lives successfully leading others to “identify, isolate, and eliminate” the root cause of people’s problems. They went on to found and direct the “New Life Dynamics Christian Counseling Center” for twenty-three years. Gary also hosted a live radio call-in program (Life Mastery Radio) for twenty years.

Listen in and enjoy the wisdom and guidance passed on from this man to men, husbands, and fathers of all ages and in all stages of life!

Senator Josh Hawley and "Manhood"

Legacy Dads had the pleasure welcome United States Senator Josh Hawley to discuss his new book "Manhood: The Masculine Virtues America Needs." Senator Hawley argues that the character of men, and the male virtue that goes along with it, is a necessary ingredient to a functioning society and a healthy, free republic.

A free society that despises manhood will not remain free.

No republic has ever survived without men of character to defend what is just and true. Starting with the wisdom of the ancients, from the Greek and Roman philosophers to Jesus of Nazareth, and drawing on the lessons of American history, Hawley identifies the defining strengths of men, including responsibility, bravery, fidelity, and leadership.

Josh Hawley is a New York Times best-selling author, constitutional lawyer, and U.S. Senator for the state of Missouri. One of the most recognized political figures in America, Josh was elected in 2018 as the youngest Senator in the country. He is well known for his battles against Big Tech and in support of middle America. As a constitutional lawyer, he has litigated in courts across the country, including the U.S. Supreme Court, defending the First Amendment. He also served as Missouri’s Attorney General, the state’s top prosecutor, from 2017-2019. Josh is married to Erin Hawley, whom he met clerking at the Supreme Court. Josh and Erin have three children, Elijah, Blaise, and Abigail. They live in Ozark, Missouri.

"Nefarious" with Sean Patrick Flanery

Dante had the pleasure to sit down with Sean Patrick Flanery who recently starred in "Nefarious," playing a condemned death-row inmate with a demonic possession. Sean is also known for his roles in Boondock Saints (original and #2) and multiple other screen roles. He is also an author ("Jane 2") and a black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Of highest importance, however, is his role as husband to Lauren and dad to Lola, Porter, and Charlie.

Listen in to this no-holds-barred conversation, as they discuss the movie "Nefarious," topics like abortion and public school, the importance of self-defense, and being a "seed" for the kingdom as opposed to being a "germ." Sean doesn't pull any punches and sets an excellent example for men who are looking for ways to thrive in their masculinity.

Please go and see this movie however you can!!
