I subscribe to many daily blogs and get their feeds fromGoogle Reader. Each day, I try to scanthrough the daily pickings and find a couple of gems to delve into. This weekend, I ran into this one from FreeMoney Finance it was actually a link to an older article but I think it is stillrelevant.
I subscribe to this same form of thinking. Money is neither good nor evil, people are. A person can do good with wealth or evil withwealth. I choose to build wealth to dogood.
I often here Christians proclaim that “Money is the root ofall evil” usually because they arehaving money problems??
Yet ministry, missions and God’s work requires time andmoney. I’ve said in the past, I willretire early simply to spend my time doing God’s work, free of charge for the charitiesin need and to teach others how to do the same.
The article also mentions the book Money, Possessions, and Eternity although I have notread it, it seems like a good read. Ilove one of the comments by a reader: “moneyeither supports your commitment to Jesus or obstructs it.”
So true, it is our choice.
