TWO QUESTIONS TO ASK JESUS

Dad's have a legacy. Period. The real--and I mean really real--question is: "Good?" or "Bad?" You won't care what people will think of you after you're gone, right? Don't be shallow. Or lazy. OF COURSE you care. If nothing else, you kids will care. They will bear the weight of your legacy. REPEAT OR REPEAL? Will they want to repeat what you have modeled for them...or do everything possible to convey something else as the "brand" of their life.

I posted a blog today on www.GENDADS.com because I couldn't get a thought off my mind. Good thoughts. In fact, I report how I sort of formed a country song around the smile that came to me as I reflected on that brutal hike for grandson Taylor's rite of passage. It was about legacy. In fact, I've come to term Taylor's passsage as my own because those four days created a irreversible imprint.

What I shared there (go to my blog to get the short but full story) was what we came up with in response to our challenge to Taylor: Jesus is just up the trail and wants to walk with you. You have two questions to ask.

I ask you the same. WHAT TWO QUESTIONS WOULD YOU ASK JESUS?

By the way, you can for real without finding Him on the mountain trail with you The answers are in Scripture. But the exercise of asking can create a great journal entry.
